Proud of your yard?

You don't have to write a blog to show off your yard. Here are a couple of places that want to see photos of local gardens:
  • The Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is holding its annual Water-Efficient Landscape Awards. The deadline is not until Sept. 11, but you'll probably want to take pictures for your entry before then. You have to live within the TMWA service area (I don't).
  • The Reno Gazette-Journal wants you to submit your garden photos to its website. Check out the photos that are already there, too.
