How one Englishwoman eats locally and gets rid of pests at the same time

Our beautiful gardening weather seems to have blown away for a few days, so here's something to check out on line. I've come across a woman in England who eats her garden snails. Check out her blog, Eating Garden Snails, for finding, purging, and cooking instructions. I wonder if she'd eat slugs?
