Until they take my digital camera away

Maybe I should never have been turned loose with a digital camera. It took me a while to learn how to use it, but since I have I've never wanted to use anything else. When I see something cool out in my yard I run in the house, grab the camera, and see if I can capture it in pictures.

Yesterday I noticed this dragonfly on some dead wild rose bushes. Its wings are not transparent; they just match the sky. For a while I thought it was dead because it didn't budge while I took as many pictures as I wanted. It was fine, though; it flew away afterward.

Well you got it all right this time, I never managed to catch an insect with my digital camera, not this way anyway... Congrats! You definitely know how to use it.

My secret is taking pictures until it flies away (or the sun goes behind a cloud or whatever). Twenty shots don't cost any more than one shot with a digital camera! Thanks for your comment.
